Preparation of Manuscripts

Online Submission
Authors should submit manuscripts via the online submission system. Manuscripts should not be simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere. Submission of any manuscript that contains redundant or duplicate publication of the same or very similar research work violates the policies of recommendation and publication will be rejected.

Normally we expect the paper no more than 6 pages. If the paper exceeds 6 pages, the extra fee will be required from the seventh page.

After Acceptance
The acceptance notification and the registration instructions will be sent to authors once papers are accepted.

Proofreading
The purpose of the proof is to check for typesetting or conversion errors and the completeness and accuracy of the text, tables and figures. Substantial changes in content, e.g., new results, corrected values, title and authorship, are not allowed without the approval of the Editor.

Please note that the journal publication office does not typeset papers, the Organizing Committee is in charge of papers' proofing. Therefore, please do check and correct your paper carefully when proofs are sent to you. Corrected papers will be directly published online by the journal publication office.

Copyright
Authors submitting a manuscript to Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) have the understanding that they have read and agreed to the terms of the IOS Press Author Copyright Agreement posted in the 'Authors' at http://www.iospress.nl/service/authors/author-copyright-agreement/. Authors do not need to fill out a copyright form for confirmation.

Preparation of Presentations
Oral Presentation
Abstract of oral presentation should be submitted via FSDM 2017 Submission System. Please mark "for oral presentation" in the NOTE box, or email to fsdm@fsdmconf.org for confirmation.

Please be prepared for 10 Minutes of Presentation and 3-5 Minutes of Q&A.

NOTE: Laptop will be provided by conference. PDF and PPT are both acceptable. To make sure the presentation can be properly displayed, please debug it or send it to conference secretary beforehand.

In oral presentations, the best presenters of each session will be awarded with free standard registration for the next FSDM.

Poster Presentation
Abstract of poster presentation should be submitted via FSDM 2017 Submission System. Please mark "for poster presentation" in the NOTE box, or email to fsdm@fsdmconf.org for confirmation.

After acceptance, please prepare your poster by referring to Instructions for Poster Presentation.

NOTE: Presenter is required to stand by his/her poster. After the presentation, the posters will be handed out to the presenters correspondingly.

For participants without presentation, please kindly send your name, affiliation and position to fsdm@fsdmconf.org for registration.
